Trudy Hendricks – Executive Director
As Executive Director of Desert Hills since March of 2007, Trudy manages her community with the vision that quality of care and quality of life should be able to coexist without compromising each other. Trudy is committed to doing things with integrity and providing the best possible care to her residents – and she’s always looking for new and better ways to do things. Trudy is constantly empowering her staff to think outside the box when it comes to providing the best in senior care and encouraging them to simply enjoy every single moment with the residents. As soon as you meet Trudy, it’s obvious that she truly loves her job and the difference she makes in seniors’ lives every day.
Each human being is unique and different. Everyone has a story (or two). I love the life stories. We’re on this journey together, the resident, the family and the team. I love to sit with our residents and make a connection, share a memory, a smile. It validates who they are. We are forever changed by the lives we touch.
Trudy has always had a heart for seniors and began her career as a nurses aide on the midnight shift. Through the years she has progressively moved through the ranks and completed her Administrator’s certification in 1996.
Trudy lives in San Jacinto with her husband and her youngest of two daughters.
